The African dream book with the pages of entrepreneurship missing
Go to a kindergarten, then to an elementary school then
to high school and then to college. Finally get a job, marry have children
build a home and die in it peacefully. Where is the adrenaline in this rulebook?
At least that is what I consider it to be. What about the juicy and the covert
moments? Well, on a second thought these are personal experiences which
are guided by the choices we make every day right? I guess this prompts for
individual rulebook for which the general rulebook is a subset.
You have to know that life has no blueprints or maps and the tales of one may be the reveries of another. Funny thing, many know this but still, people usually find it tough to make their own choices. I call it the flock mentality. Is it a bad or a good thing?
If you ask me, I will tell you yes and no. Groups define
us, they set standards for us and they make us cope. The only mistake we often
make is forgetting that our mind will always be outside the cage lest we
cage it ourselves.
What is the scariest thing that you have encountered in life? Well, to many people I am sure the answer will be more of the traumatic events such as being mugged. Do not get it twisted, but this is not the case. Making decisions that will set your life on a given course is the scariest thing. This is something you will always be second-guessing every split second.
Believe me, people work hard day in day out not to have the best future but because they are scared of having a bad future. I do not know if the difference is vivid. Well, we are all in tunnels with light at the end. Therefore, you have to choose whether to crawl to the light or give up. I just hope you will be able to sleep comfortably when the timer goes off.
So push and pull for the limits are and will always be what you want them to be. For entrepreneurs like me, hold your horses for an all-inclusive edition is coming out soon.
